I must confess I go here more often than I should. It’s about as fast foody as Chinese ‘restaurants’ get, but when you’ve got home late and you’re starving, it does the job. Staff are efficient, the menu’s huge and your dinner is with you before you’ve had time to get angry scanning the front page of the Daily Mail (which always seems to be lying around somewhere).

Don’t expect gourmet stuff here. Dishes are big, greasy and filling. They vary in quality but you’re usually safe with the popular dishes. Special chow mein is really good. Tried the chicken curry the other day and was pleasantly surprised. Some of the interesting sounding starters have proven to be a mistake, though!

Cheap and cheerful Chinese food. The service is vey speedy an efficient- and almost before you get time to catch your breath, your new course is placed in front of you. Nothing fancy about this place, but if you want a quick bite to eat or indeed a takeaway, you can't go wrong with Woo Lot.
