5 reviews of Agenda Hotel in English
I’ve only been in the bar but it is stylish and pleasent with friendly staff and reasonable prices
Agenda is a nice bar/restaurant/hotel located to the west of the city on Corstorphine Road. The place has a nice relaxed atmosphere with good parking to the rear of the building. I have eaten there twice and thought the food was good, however my wife didn’t enjoy her meal either time, so mixed reviews there! The sofas are really comfy and there is a decked area at the front which serves its purpose, but is pretty noisy due to how close it is to the main road. Overall its a great local bar to go to if you cant be bothered going into town.
The Agenda is a great place to eat, the food is of a high standard and you get a plentiful portion too. Always a good choice on the menu, whether you want a quick bite to eat or a 3 course meal, there is something to suit everyone. A great selection of wines too :) Drinks and food are both reasonably priced too. The decor is fabulous, quite plain, but VERY effective in creams and browns, very modern. With a little terraced area at the front it’s great to sit outside in the summer, that is as long as you dont mind traffic rushing past on the main road! Great place to pop in for a night out too. The rooms in the hotel are of a good standard and are nicely decorated, very fresh feeling, and the bathrooms are lovely.
Good hotel, very clean, friendly staff. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Edinburgh.
Located on the outskirts of Edinburgh (in the Corstorphinr village area) is an ideal place for individuals and businessmen. A 3star hotel with nicely decorated and comfortable rooms, pretty good (but not excelent) restaurant and bar but all in all a very good place to stay if you want to be in Edinburgh but rest away from the noise of the city center. They also have very good conference/event facilities if you are planning a party or a conference - ready for you on arrangement.
Prices very reasonable (from 60 to 80pounds), access to the city very good (at least 5 bus links plus a quick access by taxi).
As for attractions there is the Edinburgh Zoo nearby (200meters) and not so far behind there is the Carrick Knowe Golf Course.
This is one of the places I’d recommend if you want to stay in Edinburgh.
This place is great for a few drinks, the interior is very chic and creates a ncie atmosphere.
Although it is not in the city centre its not far out and if you live in the area its great for a few drinks. Especially in the summer when you can sit outside on the terrace.
Drinks are quite well priced although the white beer is a bit more expensive.
