In the end I had to send the wig back by recorded delivery. After more emails I got a refund.
After that I ordered a ponytail clip in hair piece. It took ages to arrive, when it did it was obvious that it was not new, the box was worn and there was no hairnet on the ponytail. I sent lots of emails and feedback and did not get any response. I sent the ponytail back and still no response.
A waste of time and money, Awful experiences, won't buy from there ever again.
These past few months have been absolute mayhem trying to get a refund for my wig. In June I brought a Jennifer 4 from Paks and two months later it fell to pieces. I e-mailed Feme who told me to contact the shop. I have since made 4/5 trips up to Finsbury Park from St Albans and made countless calls and e-mails only to be ignored and still owed £170 6 months later. If you like to throw money away, give it to a good cause.

I spoke to a girl this week who a few months back appeared on a very popular TV talant show and, di very well. She didnt win but she did very well and in our conversation she reminded me people usually only talk about you when the bad stuff comes out but never when you have achieved something good. Take Pak's Cosmetics, a thrieving business forged on the success of Asian family who day in day out commit themselves to delivering a service to customers like me and you. Do I think it is easy running a business, not at all. Some of us are good at what we do, Paks is good at what they do and yes, we all have areas to improve but be real supoort a brother dont knock them down.
I friend of mine made a natural skin care product and no one would stock it, Pak's did. I going to my local ASDA and I see Pak's product on the shelf. Pak is my local sucess story, yes I feel like I own the place and yes you should too... give them some love!

Have grown up going to Pak's but since moving to east london I dont get to go as often. Made the mistake of going over the weekend. I got over charged when I went back they refused to give me the difference even though the label was still on the packaging I had the receipt and everything they just said the wrong label had been put on. I forgot how extremely rude the staff there are so unneccesary there are loads of these shops in upton park and the staff are actually quite helpful and friendly. Take you custome elsewhere

RUDE AND TOO PROUD
Well below expectations
I have known the store and the brothers since they were toddlers but now since they have taken control of the trade after their forfathers have seemed to have forgot who put them there. Now they are too proud and loaded think they dont need us. so do we really need them in this day in age, when cometics and afro food are widely available all over, not like 70s and 80s when they dominated the area. NO THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!
WE WILL GO WERE WE ARE WELCOMED AND APPRECIATED

I could have easily reviewed the one in Dalston, but this one has a special place in my heart. It’s the kind of place that it’s only possible to have a love-hate relationship with. Love the bargain basement hair nets and gloves. Hate the fact that it’s in mugger-infested Finsbury Park. Love the fact that you can get wonderfully niche afro Caribbean products, like cream that gets rid of shaving bumps, or find a wig in literally any pantone number that exists on God’s green earth. Hate the brusque, unfriendly service and the overwhelming sense that the only reason why the staff are approaching you is not to help but to check you’re not stealing something, or mugging someone. For goodness sakes people. I have a push bike outside! Not exactly a getaway vehicle is it!
To their credit they were the first place to stock decent hair care products from the US; rather than those embarrassing-looking bright yellow tins of junk, or hair creams that looked like green Vaseline. They need to chill out though, or move to somewhere less crime ridden. Try Kensington.

Located on Stroud Green Road, just 3 minutes from Finsbury Park station, this chain of Afro cosmetics is a local treasure. There you can find all sorts of cosmetics for dark skins, as well as quality hair extensions and wigs, with prices ranging from £3 to £50.
Many dare the trek in order to enjoy these great bargains!
