I love this cafe. It has a vibe all of its own... funky, sexy, relaxed, and a little bit naughty. The furniture and decor is eclectic, random and arty. Old tables, grand sofas and saucy pictures on the wall. When I lived nearby I would often spend a rainy day sitting in there with a book and a pot of peppermint tea.
I don't drink coffee but my friend says their coffee is exquisite!
I especially love the little Italian biscuits they give you.
Their menu is a little bit different (poached eggs with truffle jus!) but everything I've tried there is delicious.
Don't expect great service, but this place is about quality and character... and it has buckets full of it.
