Holiday Inn Köln - Am Stadtwald

I know Holiday Inn (both the resto n the hotel itself ) since ages and I also evidenced the vary of its quality worldwide, esp. in Europe, Asia and USA. But I never was in any worse Holiday Inn Restaurants as the one here in Cologne-Lindenthal.

I passed this Hotel by and took a peek of look from its back garden-City Forrest to the restaurant and tempted to try it out somehow. So on one fine Sunday Noon I did it!

It seems to me that noone paid really a damn to the restaurant itself as well as to the service. No soul greeted the guest, so forget to have someone escorting you to your table as its commonly done in such venues. The room looked very neglected and it smelled bad from some certain corner. The Buffet Tables didnt look appetizing as most of dirty and empty.

They did really push their luck if the keep such chaos running- regarding its potential to be located in great location and carrying a well known hotel label.
