Nice stadium, but i can see why they used to call Highbury the library because even though it is a bigger ground, you could find better atmosphere at your local bowls club. On a plus side a decent place to watch some good football.

One helpful tip… if going to watch a game, please allow at least an hour, and preferably an hour and a half, for travel time from central London. 60,000 fans making their way to and from the stadium at the same time makes for some very packed tubes and buses!

Tickets for Arsenal home games are hard to come by as there is a huge following. However, tickets for the low-profile games (FA Cup, Carling Cup, etc) should be obtainable 2-3 weeks in advance when they go on general sale on the Arsenal website.

A World class stadiumfit to host any international event. This summer it played host to the Emirates cup showcasing some of the finest footballing talent from Europe. It also hosted the ruce Sungsteen Concert which was absolutely phenomenal.
Arsenal Supports and Non supports will agree that it is a wonderfully built stadium and nestled within is one of the finest kept pitches in the world.

This is the stadium of the gooners.
I am not a fan, however, I can admit they have a decent player in each position.
BUT, their capacity is less than Old Trafford’s, and their quality as a football team is less than Manchester United.
Frankly, Manchester United are the best team in the world, so if you want to support a team, go to MANCHESTER.

Utter bunch of arse. Yes, it’s very pretty. Yes, it’s very impressive but and yes, it’s very comfortable but it is very hard to get a decent atmosphere going in there and that is what watching live sporting events is all about.

The comfort and space given to each ticket holder means that there is little contact between the fans. The higher the crowd density, the greater the fervor and the more intense and dramatic the experience.

Modern stadiums such as the Emirates and Wembley - although beautifully designed and structured - have ignored this most critical part of the experience and ultimately significantly limit the enjoyment.

I’m all on for modern stadiums but the architects must remember what’s at the heart of the game.

I love the Emirates stadium. Its a great place for any Arsenal fan. Its a great day out, because it has many different attractions to it. Its easy to get to, and you cannot miss it. The Big ARSENAL letters make it look amazing and easy to find. The stadium has a museum and you can have tours.
I think there is a great atmosphere around the stadium which is great for anyone!
Even if you arnt an Arsenal fan, i think you would love it.

This is an absolute brilliant football stadium.
I am an avid Arsenal supporter and the trip
to the emirates stadium gets better ever time i go
there.
It is a major difference in the capacity of what Highbury used
to take.
The emirates is a truly spectacular football stadium.

A fantastic stadium fit for a champions league club in the 21st centuary. Without doubt the best club stadium in london. The seats are ultra comfortable and with arsenal you can be guarenteed a beautifull game of football. Something i think every football fan can appreciate. The only downside are the frankly shocking transport links.

I watched Brazil vs Argentina here during the summer and i had an amazing time! The seats are super comfortable and even though we were quite high up, the view was still fantastic. Forget Highbury, this stadium is awesome!

have been here a couple of times now, twice to watch a game and twice for corporate things. every time i have been impressed, the ground seems to be improving in atmosphere, but everyone else has commented on the football side....

So for a corporate event, on a non-match day the Emirates is really good, the staff are reallly friendly, the facilities are top notch and the setting is fantastic....

Riccardiniho verdict - get your bosses to pay, let the drinks flow and have a happydo$$ar day

Watching a game at Arsenal's new stadium is an absolute must. It has been designed in such a way that wherever you sit you will have an excellent view of the pitch. Getting there couldn't be easier as there are two big tube stations really nearby. (Arsenal and Highbury and Islington) The stadium from the outide is absolutely amazing. It resembles a european stadium and is completely different to anything else I have seen in london. The best games to go to are the Carling Cup games as the atmosphere then is the best. The die-hard fans fill up the place and sing their hearts up. On these sort of occasions it is not as quiet as people claim.

Loads of pubs around the area for pre-match boozing.!

I have been lucky enough to visit this place twice already, which I rate as pretty good for a non-Arsenal fan. The photos I upload with this review are from the Brazil-Argentina that the Emirates hosted to make some money. This is something Arsenal could never have done at Highbury as they purposefully made the pitch too small for International football, which led to the FA building Wembley.

On the subject of Wembley, both stadiums were being built at the same time. The Emirates cost about a quarter to a third of the cost of Wembley for a 60,000 capacity compared to 90,000. It was finished on time and on budget, unlike Wembley. Therefore I think it is truely amazing and commend AFC for taking the bold step to build the Emirates.

If you get offered a ticket ever...GO! They are still rather difficult to obtain for Arsenal members despite the size of the stadium. Prices range from about 20-80 pounds in the home areas i think and my away end ticket was 35 pounds, but it is a divine place to watch football.

Be warned that there are some werid rules about trying to get to and from the ground on public transport so don't plan to meet someone in town about an hour after the game finishes, as you will only get there if you are walking. Otherwise you will be queueing.

i find that the emirates stadium is home to one of the best teams that can bring teenagers and younge players in the football industry straight up to Thierry Henry standards as well as Ronaldinho.

This is the best stadium that I have ever visited. The facilties are amazing as it the electrifying atmosphere. The stadium seats up to 60,000 people and despite being so huge it is easy to find your seat once you know which quadrant it is in. The staff are freindly and the food is not excessively expensive in contrast to a season ticket. I would advise anyone who got tickets to see any match to go even if they don;t support the team as the stadium itself is so great. Being an Arsenal fan i go to games regularly and each one I have been to has been absolutely packed.
