Cheap drink and cheap entry…what a winning combination. Good venue for gigs with more and more big(ish) names making an appearance. main floor area and balcony give a number of vantage points though there can sometimes be a bit of a wait at the bar

A great cheap night on a wednesday, you're bound to know at least half the people in there too! Great for students, cheap entry and cheap drinks. Music is popular indie/rock. The banter is hilarious!

This club near the centre of town offers a fantastic range of music throughout the week. On the weekends there are often big names playing live (ticket prices around £8-10). However, the best day to go must be a Wednesday on ‘Indi Night’ (£3 entry £1 students) where DJ Keiron plays the latest Indi beats and all drinks are £1.50. Always a good combination! One tip is to queue early (before 11) as the line of ‘patient’ clubbers does get quite long at times with waiting times as long as an hour.

Due to Liquid Rooms location it is also possible to get a midnight snack from one of the many nearby fast food restaurants on the way home to satisfy those hunger pangs! The club itself it located next to several other bars and clubs in Edinburgh’s Cowgate so you are able to sample a good range of clubs in Edinburgh if you so wish. To sum up, good central location, high quality bands/DJ’s throughout the week, and a great atmosphere…an all round good place to go clubbing in Scotland’s capital.
