A lovely little place to eat your lunch
right near embankment station! lots of nice flowers and grass in the middle of london
the small park is always full of people in suits sitting reading, talking and eating a wonderful place to relax on a nice day, el fresco or people watching.

These gardens are right next to Embankment station and are one of my favourites in London. They are quite small, but that's not a problem: small places tend to be cozy! But what's really amazing about these gardens is the variety of tulips when spring comes. It blooms with a stunning variety of colours and shapes! So gorgeous you just wanna sit there and appreciate the beauty. I could do it for hours... It's specially perfect for a quick break from the buzz and madness of London life.

I discovered this garden years ago by accident when I was lost and bored. It is that garden on the way from Charing Cross station to Embankment station that you always miss because you are in a hurry and too busy to notice the green.

Not a huge space I would say but very peaceful and could be the best space to chill out for a wee break. There are lots of shops on Villiers Street that you can buy food and step in this garden for a munch....mind you, pigeons are all over the place.

I've come across to hear a jazz band performing inside the garden twice already, not quite sure if it's a regular event or random showcase but it's nice and free to consume.

It looks lovely and makes you feel like home due to the size of 4.5 hectares. Grab a bench if you'd like to sit properly, lie down on the lawn if you'd like to touch the nature. If it's too hot in the summer, you can always sit in the shades in some corners.

Note : No access for cyclists but good access for wheelchairs.
