If you shop at the tiny Tesco in Hammersmith Station after work and find it insanely crowded, you might want to walk a little bit further down Shepherds Bush Road and you will find a large Tesco nestled in Brook Green. Well stocked with a wide array of branded and home brand products, I always manage to find what I need here, from speciality Asian ingredients to an impressive range of meat-free meals. It is also hardly ever crowded, except on weekends, which works out well for me as I do my food shopping after work. They also close late and open on Sundays.
This Tesco also serves as a collection centre for non-food items that I buy online (instead of having to pay for my items delivered to my address, I can collect from the Hammersmith Tesco free of charge on my way home from work).
The only downside is, some of the things I normally buy I can find in Morrisons (in Shepherds Bush) at a lower price.

Wow! If you’re a Tesco-phile but wish the could stock more non-food items in your local store, then this is the place for you. You won’t find any food here, just plenty of stuff for the home, a wide range of clothes, an excellent electrical range (TVs, DVDs etc), books, CDs/DVDs and loads of toys. Prices are about the same as the cheapest places elsewhere, but you do get clubcard points too (effectively taking between 1% and 8% off the price - depending on how you pay for it, and how you use your clubcard points).
But this store excels with its special offers, and when things are discounted you’ll find amazing bargains. So if you see a sale advertised at this store, make sure you pop in - you’ll probably spend more than you planned, but you’ll get a whole load of stuff.

A massive Tesco hidden away just off Shepherd's Bush road. You would never know it was there.
I think there are flats built above it, which would be incredibly convenient if you lived there. I think I would get an obscure recipe book and cook every dish in it as I could just pop down in my pyjamas to Tesco to get whatever peculiar ingredient the recipe demanded.
It's big, has loads of things and is pretty cheap.

Great grocery store, in additon you can pick up some homeware, whether you want to spend under £5.00 to £100's you would always find something you want to eat, drink or use in the store
Large parking capacity with toilets and a seperate disabled toilet, wide aisles and a large variety of grocery.

This huge Tesco's near Brooke Green Hammersmith is an absolute gem especially if you are anything like me and hate to go food shopping. If I do take the initiative do the weekly shop then I like to go somewhere and do a big shop for the month and get all my groceries from the one place.
Tesco does it for me everytime because they carry all the basic fruits, vegetables and meat, fish and chicken I may need as well a lot of rare items which are not available at some of the smaller stores.
This particular site has many rare lines like Kosher Foods,Asian Foods,Chinese Foods and Carribean Foods as well any seasonal oddities.
For the famished on a Saturday the cooked chicken section is good because they do plain, herbs, lemon and many other varieties to select from.
