If you love chocolate, make a beeline for this place right now. In the food section of the Camden Lock market, Sobo sells homemade cookies (which are massive), homemade ice cream and the best brownies in the world. In the colder months they do a selection of chocolate truffles which are delicious and make good presents too. The stall is prettily laidout and if you get there any later than midday, you’ll find quite the queue.

I wanted to give this 3.5 stars. This chocolate is really nice. The truffles and chocolates are of a generous size and are quite inexpensive. The style is more Belgian than French and I’m much more a fan of French chocolates however these were a welcome change.

The dark and milk chocolate truffles were my favourite. I would highly recommend their own best seller as the abslute best examples of the heights to which this chocolate maker is able to achieve.

Generous, don’t buy too many as they are satisfying!

A gem in London. Sobo Chocolate is the find of the century! Located in Camden Lock market opposite the Julia Carvalho dress boutique, this chocoholic's paradise is a dream come true. Sobo makes handmade truffles with a variety of centres. There are also delicious home baked goodies on sale. Prices are very reasonable and the chocolate is of top quality. A foodie's heaven. There are gift bags available, or chocolates can be bought individually. They serve the best hot chocolate in town. They are at the market Saturdays and Sundays and their stock moves quickly - it is gaining in popularity week after week.
