They aren’t comice..they are graphic novels, there’s enough memorabilia here to bring out the geek in almost anyone! Sci-fi, fantasy, horror, anime it’s all here! and the staff are really helpful, if you can’t find what you’re looking for ask the manager- they may be able to get it for you! Saucy adult comics..ooh la la!

Has an excellent collection of new comic books and graphic novels. SF book collection is disappointing as it is exclusively movie/TV tie-ins.

Forbidden Planet is slightly out of the way from the immediate city centre, but worth the short walk. It sells all kinds of movie memorabilia, collectable figures, comic books old and new, all things star wars for those who love it! It is an amazing shop, its so interesting just walking around marvelling at things you never thought you could buy like Star Wars beach Towels and Batman pillows! There are two floors and the bottom floor is a comic geeks idea of a dream, wall to wall comics from batman, wonder woman, various anime and manga. It sells everything from small novelty trinkets to scaled down replicas, there is something for everyone and every price!

Forbidden Planet is one of those unique shopping gems, a little bizarre from outset but is packed full of comic books, figurines, posters, film and tv memorabilia. This is not just for Trekkies! There are more commercial goodies, such as items from Lord of the Rings, The Simpsons and Japanese Manga, Japanese Horror and more. A great shop to go and have a nosy in.

Planet is a comic book shop that also sells figurines and games from films, TV shows and computer games. It is a great place to go for any comic book collector as they have hundreds. You can also buy unusual board games that you can’t find on the high street and toys from Family Guy, Napoleon Dynamite and Jimi Hendrix. Highly recommended.
