A true local pub but without the staring…
Really friendly, some great real ales at good prices, and very nice Sunday lunch.
They have an Open Mic Night every other Tuesday, which seems to attract genuinely talented musicians.
I have been to a few of their 'special events’ including a Charity Day, and Beer festival - both were very family friendly, well organised, and genuinely enjoyable. The way a proper pub should be!
