I always go to Khushis in Victoria Street ( in fact I’ve been going to Khusihs since 1964, in its 4 previous guises)
I dont live in town any more but come in from Stirling once a month to meet old chums - for a Khushi. It was the ist place the lags came to the night they got out of Sauchton ( Jail)
the place has supported every kind of client.
The food is NOT what it was at Drummond Street 10 years ago. But its still not bad, and not too expensive.
But, I am going to give Red Fort a try.

Upon entering RED FORT I felt very out of place. The staff were unwelcoming, and after 40 minutes one of the three waiters who had consistently served the guests next to me, inquired as to what flavor beverage I would like as my 'WELCOME DRINK'. After expressing my disappointment in their level of service [thus far] I witnessed an immediate change, in both the staff and the overall atmosphere.

The food was well above par, deserving of an A++. It is the right place to visit if you are in search of a meal that is sure to stick to your ribs (ensure you are full/satisfied). The location is ideal and the price is especially superb if you are a student (as students are given 10% off their total meal price).

Slow to start that is for sure, but definitely an overall excellent experience.

The best value Indian buffet we've ever had. Fantastic food, friendly staff, lovely decor and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Brilliant.

I can't rate this place high enough.
it's small(ish), clean and staff are friendly.
buffet lunches are out of this world - all for £5.95!!
