Expensive for guitars, with very few discounts on far-eastern brands. Possibly the only music store in London that does not offer a free set-up to buyers of new guitars. So if you want the action lowering or frets dressed on your new purchase, you have to pay an extra £30-£60. For reasonable prices and decent customer service, go elsewhere.

Had to pay for five lessons plus two more as a security of booking,I had three lessons and was informed
on the third one that my tutor was of next week and would not be avalible for the lesson.
Which was fine with me ,however on the day before my next lesson they called me to tell me that they had to cancel my lesson and told me that they had not been able to contact me,(my mobile is on 24hrs)
I said that I would like my money back and was not happy with the service, the owner tried to arrange a lesson at another time, but this was not convenient and they refused to refund my two lessons and insisted that i take them, normally if you pay for something and you are not happy you get you money back.
Be aware that these people will not give you your money back even if you are not happy with the service
I will never use the shop again and would not recomend it.

I have been going to this store for years and they have never failed to cater for my musical needs. Staff are well-trained, friendly and helpful, and the shop itself has a very welcoming atmosphere.
On one occasion they didnt have what i was looking for, but did all they could to help and even managed to order the item in for me.
Also worth a mention is their repair service – one of my guitars needed some major TLC, and NLMC managed to get it playing superbly again in no time.

Please dont give these people your money. Any organisation that favours money over customer service is a bad organisation. The workers are lazy and rude…….then you meet the manager, and you realise where they get it from.
As soon as you buy an item they literally wash their hand of you, as the money has been handed over. Music instruments are so expensive so my advice, you need to know that you will be looked after should something go wrong or anything, with the product that you buy…….dont bother stopping here….please

Recently purchased an electric guitar here for my son who is looking to start learning the instrument. I personally have no idea on how to play or the do's and don't's of guitar buying, but the staff were friendly and informative, helping me choose the right guitar for my son. Cannot thank them enough as he loves his new instrument, the staff were also happy to discuss booking lessons for him, all the while making my shopping experience comfortable and relaxed. A great atmosphere inside the store and friendly staff made the seemingly stressful purchasing of a new musical instrument an absolute breeze. Cannot fault them, 10/10.

Bought a piano stool here with advice from a salesperson. When I got it home and assembled it it turned out to be too high (way higher than a regular piano stool), and quite rickety. Took it straight back, but they refused to change it or provide a refund, as they only change faulty items, and in their opinion it wasn't faulty.
Absolutely appalled by the bad customer service and the cowboy attitude. Once they have your money they couldn't care less about you. The item was still wrapped as new, and most stores would have offered a refund in this circumstance just because I'd changed my mind, let alone because the item was not fit for the purpose.
My advice; don't shop here!
