1 review of Bird in Hand in English
having visited the bird in hand recently I left feeling dissapointed. The pub smelt of blocked drains and as I looked around at the walls and furnishings I felt it looked in need of cleaning/updating. the chairs fabric is ripped, the carpet was in need of hoovering. Old sellotape on ceiling was left there. It felt like not enough was been done to make the place a pleasant place to visit. The prices charged for the drinks are the same as in bars of much higher presentation and ambience. The Bird in Hand is my local pub and I would like to continue going there but the environment needs improving first.
