This is a "public sector day spa". The first one in England. Can the public sector do luxury?? Well yes, apparently so! And it's done beautifully and affordably. There are plenty of options from basic sauna and steam room on rotation to special treatments and with the option of fruit teas and fruit flavoured water and even just fruit you'll feel refreshed and hydrated at all times. It's spacious and stylish and the facilities are brand new; it's a particularly amazing deal for students. They're serious about relaxation here though and can be a bit stern during the booking procedure! I went in a large group and it was a perfect birthday treat. Make sure you find out what days are available to you as only single sex admission is allowed on most days (although on Sundays it is mixed).
