Planet Organic is an amazing shop, tasty and healthy food, well presented, clean and fresh ingredients, all the factors to make it a very pleasant experience for anyone.
I pass this place quite a lot and I find it quite handy to drop in for a cup of tea or coffee and a pastry. I don’t think it’s as expensive as coffee shops such as Starbucks and, unlike Starbucks, they are quite happy to make you a lemon tea. I much prefer this place to the coffee shops and I like the tables outside where you can sit and watch life go by. The service is friendly as well.

I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with this place: the love comes from all the healthsome and downright delicious food on offer (along with the occasional dubious-looking superfood claim) and the hate is naturally cost-related. Cheap it ain’t, but you can eat well here without spending a fortune if you reign yourself in a little and just get your lunch, avoiding all the exciting organic deserts and biscuits.
A few years ago, I spotted Gwynneth Paltrow shopping here, so its faddy celebrity diet credentials are solid!

Planet Organic is more the kind of place I'd expect to find in Mayfair or Crouch End; a supermarket perfect for yummy mummies - but that is actually right round the corner from UCL so it is full of students instead.
Great for shopping I'm sure, although I wouldn't bother stopping by for a coffee.

I stumbled across Planet Organic while looking for a place to grab breakfast a couple of days ago. I think I'd give this place 2/3 stars for brekky/coffee (limited choice. Quite expensive. Odd seating arrangement) but 5 stars for the organic supermarket. I only spent a couple of minutes wandering around the aisles but the choice was awesome (and cheap!). Significantly better choice and more affordable food than Whole Foods.
I'll be back! But probably not for coffee..... :)

Planet Organic has been the number one place for lunch time during my university years. I particularly like their hot foods because they are healthy and not at all expensive. This place is catered for vegans and veggies, so don't expect to see meat here. Price depends very much on the size of the packaging which you want that ranges from £3 and onwards, but still cheap for filling lunches. I particularly love their pastas and soups. They also serve nice hot drinks, including the Chai Tea Lattes, which is only £2. I prefer this drink over the Star bucks one, because it’s a tad bit sweeter. I also enjoy the cheese cake, which is very addictive, yet pricey. There was one episode where I ordered the wild mushroom soup, and after absorbing it succulently I couldn’t stop laughing at my next class. Suggestions as to why this happened please bring your comments forward. The food products they sell however are not cheap. Buying organic fruits or dairy products are up to £5 each. Ouch! It’s so ironic that natural foods that are untouched by GM are so expensive. Therefore, it’s only for the wealthy that’ll want to complete all the food shopping in Planet Organic. The queues are long during the lunch hour so stay away, or expect a 20 minute chat with your friends in them. This also applies to their seating area which is limited during busy hours. You’ll have to use your confidence and politely ask others permission to steal their chair or eat on their table.

Least of all, this is a fun bookshop which stocks books on yoga and a free paper that only prints good news! More importantly, you can eat an amazing, hot, organic (vegetarian) meal here and somewhere in between lies the fact that there is an enormous organic supermarket at the back. Being where it is, Planet Organic is always full of ethical university types...don't bother going there at lunchtime unless you're happy to take away. It's all organic but their selection of fair trade products is limited. However, their chai is as chai should be, it's probable that the staff meditate or do capoeira and if you have a "zinger" shake you'll feel super human. Very good news.
