I've been wanting to go to the Limes for ages and finally got round to going last week. I was so looking forward to it.
What a huge disappointment to discover the service was rude and unfriendly. Very much felt like we were not good enough to be there! I will not be going back and will definately not recommend anyone I know going there either. Word of mouth is so important in business and is, of course, free advertising. Alas they will not be getting good publicity from me.
Limes is a small bistro on Lindfield high street. It is a popular venue, with a mixed clientèle of young and old.
The food is reasonably priced, and reasonably good. Wine list is short but cheap. The dining room is small, however, and gets very noisy particularly if there is a large group booked.
