Friendly welcome and helpful staff.
Nice atmosphere and good menu. Breakfast burrito is awesome! You really should try this place!

Yet another restaurant in Tom Conran’s mini dynasty, ruling the Westbourne Park Road. Small but perfectly formed diner, complete with booths and an array of Americana decor.
Walked in with my friend, only a few people eating made a clear and audible hello to the four staff grouped at the end. Not one said hello and all turned their gaze. Quiet bizarre.
We ordered some drinks, I asked for a Bloody Mary, they had no vodka, so I had it virgin, fine. I ordered the cob salad and fries, and asked if I could have it without the chicken, was told in an overly blunt tone, that I would be charged full price. Is all of this rudeness part of a new underground service technique I don’t understand?
I asked for the chicken to be cooked and given to me in a doggy bag. Hmph.
Food was good but won’t be spending my money in there ever again.

I was recommended this place by a friend and my god was I disappointed. From the offstart, the man who I assume – heaven knows why – is the manager was rude, obnoxious and clearly oblivious to the importance of good service. Although the food was undeniably good (give or take the fact that the bacon on my burger was near charred), the experience was utterly ruined by the ignorant manager. When I returned to my friend with my verdict, she replied “Oh god sorry I forgot to warn you about him” – which says it all! The good news, however, is that she has kindly informed me that he does not work nights! So at least I can return to have another of their delicious milkshakes without fear of him terrifying my children once again…

This is my favorite burger joint in Europe! I love it!
The burgers are pretty and petite. The meat is flavorsome and I always order mine medium. If you want fries, you have to order them separately. Same for the sides.
The staff are great and they have been there for absolute ages! (I seem to go every other weekend)
I once went for brunch and I didn't enjoy it as much as a burger for lunch or dinner.
The interior is done up in old diner style, with plush pistachio banquettes. There are only 6 booths I think, which seat 6 each. No reservations and if there are few of you, expect to share a table.
The music can be loud almost blaring.
Last words, order the cream soda...

Yummy, yummy diner style food! The burgers and sandwiches and actually everything I have had there is yummy. The retro decor is cool and the staff are always nice. Go just to enjoy the American style diner decor.

Nice burgers and options for a full American feast. Shame that milkshakes are far from vein clotting. They're very watery and weak.
Sometimes it's just one person serving the 6 tables so expect little or no proactivity from waiter. Specials on the wall and full menu on the boards.
Good luck!

If you want one of the best burgers in the UK, go to Lucky 7. It’s a great place, with the feel of an American diner - booths, the chef cooking to order behind the counter, help create this. The burgers are absolutely superb - great meat pattie in a very good bun with salad, tomoto and onion on the side. No dressing or mustard served on the burger but ketchup etc is all on each table. The chips are delicious and there are other options including hot dogs, chicken bugers, and salads. The other great thing is the mexican food they serve - huevos rancherros, and various other things alongside American breakfasts including pancakes and maple syrup. If I went for breakfast I know I’d just end up ordering a burger because as good as the other options are, the burgers really are amazing!

I go to Lucky Seven’s for breakfast pretty much every weekend, plus the odd stolen morning off work and sometimes for dinner at night.
I’ve been there so much (and to Crazy Homies next door) that the staff are almost friends now!!
There is a great selection of breakfasts; fantastic American pancakes, plain or with banana, blueberries or strawberries are a favourite, but most often it’s the veggie breakfast for me. Scrambled eggs, beans , mushrooms and toast. Yum yum yum.
When it’s busy you do have to be patient and wait when it’s busy, and sometimes it can be really stressful with people being pushy or rude - but the staff have seen it all before!
Believe me, the wait is worth it. It’s not cheap, but it IS delicious.
If you see Tony, tell him I said hi ;)

Lucky 7 is ideal if you want good food in a hurry, in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. It is a small and intimate place which feels more like a diner than a restuarant owing to its size and retro decor- I really love the the black and white pinboard which displays the menu. The service is fast and the food is really good value. Two can eat and have a couple of rounds of drinks for £25. I hear also that they are open for a good breakfast.
