This is one of the nicest restaurants with an outdoor section in Wimbledon high street. Sitting at the top of the Centrecourt Shopping Centre, with the entrance just outside Wimbledon station, its convenient yet takes you away from the maddening crowds.

Inside is airy and large with comfortable seating arrangements. Outside is more cramped, but has the advantage of getting lovely sunlight.
They make really good cocktails and are reasonably priced. The food is excellent, whether you are having salads or burgers or something more exotic. The service is fast, friendly and efficient.

I was really pleasantly surprised when I popped up to make the most of the last of the summer and will definitely be going back.

Was in there last night and it was awesome! My first time sampling Wimbledon’s scene and I was not disappointed.

The food was delicious- I had the surf and turf which was steak, calamari and king prawns + side. Sides had loads to choose from like garlic and herb mash and fancy veg but as I had steak I stuck to chips! (Price: £14.95)

I opened a tab at the start of the night, which is great when u want to treat a friend but dont want that awkwardness when the bill comes. I had a glass of house white, think it was £4.75 and it was delicious.

Only not having 5 stars as there is no dance floor and I think it shuts at 11????!!!?? Such a shame

The bar staff are super friendly too and up for a bit of banter. They’re not bad to look at either!

The Terrace Bar Wimbledon is located above the Centre Court Shopping Centre, next to the side-exit of Wimbledon mainline and tube station.

There is a lift but it is very slow and not always working, so its easier (where possible) to take the curving staircase to the bar which is located upstairs. Access can also be via the Food Court on the top floor of the shopping centre, during main shopping hours.

The bar is in two parts - the main bar area, then up behind that is a two-tier restaurant area, although you can drink where you like! The bar can hold up to 250 people for private parties, and they are also happy to block off an area of the restaurant (especially the top tier, which has access via the shopping centre) for private groups. Adjacent the bar is a patio area, which has patio heaters for those chillier days. A nice spot for coffee and a catch-up!

Service is always fairly good, with a good range of drinks and plenty of wine available by the glass 'tho it is cheaper to buy the bottle! They also have a range of cocktails available, quite a nice size list with some unusual ones listed!

Food is consistently reliable, with the lunch menu being a favourite for shoppers, especially at weekends. They even have a wood-burner to fire up homemade pizza, which is a nice touch.

It's difficult to say what the main clientele are like, it really is a broad spectrum - from the youngsters (early 20's) right through to those nearing retirement age in the evenings, 'tho not on the nights when a DJ is in residence (Fridays).
