A rare treat, these are great. The smell of this shop permiates the street and you are compelled through walking within sniffing distance to enter within.
Inside the interior is start and purely functional but the product that is created is divine.
I have never tasted the like. This is a brill place to go!

What more could you ask for than creamy goodness wrapped within a pastry shell?

If you read what my fellow qypers have had to say about this place, you will not be surprised that I’m going to talk about the cream puffs now: There’s something a little bit unique about them. At £1.29 individually, I will have to lump them with Krispy kreme and Starbucks Muffins as a rather premium cost solution to cakey pangs, but they’re yummy and probably not too bad on the arterials. Good quality featherlight pastry encases a luxurious creamy custard yolk. My advice to you is eat it away from expensive clothing and with spare napkin!

I work on the street across from this shop and I have to say it takes a supreme effort of sheer will to not stop by on my way in every day for one of these delicious treats.
I first discovered Beard Papa at this location but later experienced them in Japan and I can say both times were an extreme treat!
The pastry is light and done just right. The cream is lovely and light. There isn’t that extreme amount of sugar many places feel is necessary.
While the coffee was a bit of a sad note, that’s not why you go to Beard Papa - You go to Beard Papa for the cream puffs.
LUSH!

I spied Beard Papa unexpectedly and popped in for a quick treat last nite. I’ve had their cream puffs in New York and there’s a definite difference from the ones I’ve had at Beard Papas across the pond. And I difference I thoroughly endorse. The Oxford Street branch has a more heavy handed helping of cream (definite plus, even if a bit messier than its NY counterpart) and the ‘puff’ was somewhat lighter and more crisp. Lucky for me I don’t live or work too near by else I’d be stopping by here religiously. That being said, a box of these would brighten any dreary day or make a great little dessert for a dinner party. Or skip the dinner party and eat them all yourself while watching a good movie! Even better.
