Having had many gym memberships die the death in the past I knew what I was getting myself into by joining the corporate jungle that is Virgin Active gyms. I have so far found the gym a relaxing place to hang-out, the only thing missing being windows as the gym's in the basement, so you can feel a bit penned in. I was particularly impressed with the creche facilities for children from 6 weeks old to 10 years old. I'm planning to introduce my baby to water early and make use of the creche for short sessions while I work on my yummy mummy figure! Helpful and infomed staff and personal training to hand should make all customers feel well-looked after. Arrange a tour and you might find yourself offered a no-joining fee deal which helps the purse.
