I'm sure this was a one off, Maybe the order was mixed up or lost in translation. I have ordered many things from them that i have recieved in plenty of time of the occassions purchased for. I think the staff there are great and very helfull at all times.

if your looking for a gift for your missis you arnt going to go far whong great collections of jewellery and if you ask they even wrap for you takes all the hassel out of buying the staff seem frendly and to know what they are doing to. and the card shop across the road is a good one as well i always get my cards there and thay always get good comments
Harriet and Dee is tucked away on Warburton Street in Didsbury. I didn’t notice this at first but they have two shops on this street, one selling general gifts and the other focusing on jewellery. It’s the gift shop I’m writing about today.
This is a pretty little shop. You’re greeted with tinkling mobile sounds as you walk in and they have a huge selection of unusual and novelty gifts. A few things that caught my eye were a range of cake forks, complete with plastic cupcake embellishments, paper weights with inspiring slogans, shoe shaped soaps and a rather splendid cup carrying the slogan, ‘I’d rather be The Stig’.
Other items include toiletries, candles, ceramics and cards. There’s a good selection with lots to choose from. You won’t come away empty handed if you’re looking for a gift.

This is a great shop that is packed full of lovely gift, jewellery and cards spread over two shops in didsbury. its on a little street called warburton near the dog and partridge. Worth a look if presents are need for a range of occasions because they always have something that takes your fancy.

They are only getting a one star rating as its the lowest I can give. I asked the jewellery shop to order something in for me in plenty of time for a relatives special birthday and was told that it wasn’t a problem. I had to continually chase them up as they never got back to me to let me know what was going on, and each time I phoned I was fobbed off with the excuse that someone would get back to me…....I’m still waiting! They obviously don’t need the business, and their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. The moral of the story is if you want something for a special occassion, find yourself another jewellers.

Stunning gifts and cards - individual and unique. Has many designer stuff too like Alessi stuff. There is one in Chester and one in Didsbury.
Good little shop but expensive

If you're looking for pretty gifts, unusual presents for birthdays, stunning silver necklaces, beads, bracelets or beautiful cards then Harriet and Dee is likely to have something that catches the eye. Although a small store, tucked away on the cobbled Warburton Street, it packs in a lot of unique items and is well worth a look if you're on your lunch hour. Bear in mind it can be on the pricey side in places.
