This place should just be renamed with a giant sign that says HANGOVER CURE THIS WAY. A busy Italian cafe on the corner of Parkway and Arlington Road, it has been there for yonks. Serving breakfasts, lasagne, pastas, eggs chips, tea - all the essentials. its the sort of place where you enter head in hands, squash yourself amongst a bustling packed cafe at simple chairs and formica tables. Your order is taken by the italian woman who encourages you to eat more, and finally a glimmer of hope of becoming normal again enters you. This fast, fesity cafe always seems warm and cosy, pop in for a takeaway sandwich too, they have a huge selection and massive ciabattas, sometimes an argument will take place behind the counter, sometimes there are smiles all round, it's just that sort of place. A gem that when I worked and lived in Camden, I couldn't do without.
