This is my second favourite pub in the area. It’s suprisingly quiet compared to other places some evenings, which I really can’t account for, but it serves wonderful food, with exciting specials (and a great roast on a Sunday) and has a lovely moroccon style covered garden in the back, which I think can be privately hired. There is a more 'restaurant style’ area in the back, which I have never eaten in because the pub itself is so comfortable, but which looks really nice also. The staff are friendly and relaxed. A great pub.

This is a nice Young's pub with a lovely Moroccan themed function room in the back, and awesome food.

Although The Grove looks like a hotel lobby, it's a lot more welcoming and relaxing than that. The beer is expensive, but this price hike has helped make the place more inviting for families and those in need of some proper restaurant-style food.

The service is impeccable, and although I miss the stone baked pizzas the BRB that was previously here used to offer, the lunch menu has entirely made up for that with amazing home-made fish finger sandwiches.

It looks very pricey in The Grove now, and a lot of money has been invested in it by Young's, but it is growing on me. It may not feel like a true Camberwell pub, but sometimes it's nice to escape that feeling without straying too far from home.

Real cacti in the Moroccan room too!
