Review of Sadivino from 14 May 2008

I have been going to Sadivino since they first opened. It was originally a licensed grocery store with one or two tables. When it changed hands, they changed the focus to sit in and take away food. The d’vine salad is to die for, and the soups are out of this world. One thing - don’t expect your panini to come out squashed flat and roasting hot. This doesn’t happen in Europe, so expect beautifully toasted bread and your fillings lightly warmed through.

Review of Sadivino from 25 April 2008

I tried this place as it was the nearest cafe to my new flat when i moved last year, i was very pleasantly surprised, all of the food is classic homemade italian style, everything i’ve had from there has been very good, even the little touch of a portion of the wall being a sort of italian produce mini-market just adds to its authenticity, an excellent little coffee shop! just get there fast as its always extremely busy!

Review of Sadivino from 31 March 2008

One of my favourites. Its the sort of place everyone needs just round the corner. Busy but relaxed, good simple Mediteranean food without pretention, at great prices. The menu and the customers are both more interesting than average too .. Recommended as a place for meeting with friends for a relaxed meal, a bottle of wine (House wine was only £5.99 at the last visit) and lots of conversation. If you don’t like competing for a seat, try a late lunch, outside the normally busy lunch period.

Review of Sadivino from 14 November 2007

A neighbourhood coffee shop oozing know-how. The menu bursts at the seams with palette pleasing fare that never fails to deliver and all for a reasonable bob. Posters, advertisements and Italian produce clutters the walls and shelves to great eyecatching effect. Comfortable little terrace outside with stunning views of Arthur’s Seat. If only every one could have such a café find on their block corner!
