Right after a decent flat white at milk bar, i feel a bit hungry so i decide to went in to have a quick bite here. The food was great especially breakfast burrito, remind me when i was in State what a great time i had over there.

I found it hard to review The Breakfast Club without bias for two reasons. 1) they are named after one of my favourite movies 2) they gave me a cute breakfast club badge- for free.
I know that is quite pathetic, but when was the last time you got to eat a great big fresh and wholesome salad, with friendly soho-ites chatting to you without invitation (I swear it’s true) while wearing a free funky badge?
Simple really. This is a cute, cosy and fun place where the food is consistently good and by association you find yourself smiling remembering Emilio Estevez as the most active stoner ever.

Had a great bacon and egg bagel for brunch. My friends’ English breakfasts were a little light on vegetables (don’t recall any tomato - this is a serious omission) but everyone was happy with portions and quality.
Mood carries this place. Yellow walls filled with bric a brac like covers of Bruce Willis albums (yes, albums!). And the staff care: about you, about their establishment, about breakfast.
This is the first place I found using Qype and what fabulous results.
I got converted to espresso at this place and it certainly packed a punch. Wonderful.
The day’s most important meal just got its own restaurant. I wonder aloud if one is allowed to eat here all day?

I’ve walked pass this place many times and always wondered what it was like behind the bright yellow exterior. So I was pleased when a friend suggested we go there. I really liked it. The place has a great vibe - really relaxed and friendly. A welcome antidote to the many chain places around and to me captures the spirit of Soho. I only had a coffee, which was only ok. But the huge sandwiches my friends had looked great and were enjoyed. I will be going back to try the food for myself.

What a cool place to go for breakfast, I’m surprised I’ve only just found out about the place, what with the film being one of my favourites! English or American, the breakfast doesn’t disappoint and the please has a really friendly and informal atmosphere to it. Worth going to if you take pride in the most important meal of the day. Coffee is decent also.

I used to go almost every weekend but the last few times I’ve been its really gone down hill. Maybe its just a blip but the service has been erratic, the food not like it used to be (and on one occasion not cooked properly) and the music changed from disco to rave. Maybe its just got too busy and too popular but they just don’t seem to have kept up with demand. Still one of the better places for breakfast in the area but realy not as good as it should or used to be.

A great place for any time of day, not just for breakfast! The eclectic decor, great food and location are just right for a either a mid-shop lunch for those who start early, or a meeting spot for those who don’t often see the morning!! And the fact tht it doesn’t do alcohol makes it the perfect get away spot for the morning after the night before for those of us for whom the hair of the dog is more hinderance than help!
Food is wholesome, filling, tasty and cheap (ie amazing!) and the service is always very friendly, if not always totally on the ball… I also have had to chase up drink orders in this joint!
A regular haunt wrapped up in pretty paper and tied with a bow. With bacon.

This is a fabulous little place with plenty of character with polaroid photos and notes adorning one wall, trinkets scattered about the place, fairy lights and almost everywhere you look someone has left their mark one way or another. There are a choice of different sized tables to sit at and an assortment of chairs which you may find yourself swapping about to get a more comfortable one.
The brunch menu was one of the better ones I’ve seen in awhile but as soon as I saw the bacon and egg sandwiches the guys across from us had, I knew that I had to have it too. Just remember to order at the bar or you will end up feeling like a numpty wondering why they haven’t come to serve you yet. The menu does state “Order at the counter” but since we hadn’t yet had our morning coffee, we can be excused can’t we? The bacon and egg sandwich was delicious and hit the brunch spot. They did forget our coffees which after a bit of prompting from us arrived just after our last mouthful.
I can see this place becoming a regular of mine. Next time I visit, i’m ordering the porridge. Again spotted at another table, it looked incredibly good, even the glassware it came in. I’ll just hope the coffee arrives in a timely fashion!
Oh, and don’t forget to pick up a free 'The Breakfast Club Soho’ button when you pay for your meal!

This is a great place for lunch, but gets very busy and doesn’t have that many seats.
The food is always great, with a good choice (unless you arrive late). The cakes/traybakes look fab, but I’ve never had a chance to sample them. The fresh orange is really good and they make an excellent cup of coffee.
The reviews above have made me want to try the smoothies and waffles, so I’ll be back to order them next time I’m in the area…

At £3.50 for a veggie sausage sandwich on delictable doorstop cut grainery (which they’ll even toast if you’re so inclined), you can’t go wrong with Breakfast (or lunch or afternoon tea) at The Breakfast Club. Delicious, wholesome food with experimental Breakfast combos (pancakes in a Full English?) that just seem to work this place will put a smile on your face that will last the day. Free wifi, and the staff will happily let you linger over a coffee - they do mean smoothies too!

Love the pancakes, love the smoothies. They do a great selection of quick pre-made take-away stuff for Soho employees on the go. They have nice yoghurt pots and freshly squeezed juices and smoothies. I get coffee from here somtimes. This branch is much cosier than their newer Islington location. Here you’ll find couches and benches to relax and enjoy the free wi-fi.

A wonderful little breakfast place right in the middle of Soho that I hadn’t discovered until now when introduced to it by a fellow Qyper. Great selection of everything you could want for a hearty breakfast. They make a lovely cup of coffee and the scrambled eggs were pretty good too. I wouldn’t say they were perfect or anywhere near the best eggs I’ve ever had, but they were good enough and did the trick on a rainy hungover Friday morning. It came with an interesting side of tomato relish, which was ok but straight out of the fridge so a bit too cold for the poor little eggs! The smoothies looked amazing so I’ll be coming back for one of those soon. Cute scruffy décor with a retro feel, a great place to come for a yummy breakfast in Soho.

There is something definitely comfortable about this place. It’s really casual inside while still being warm and friendly. Their breakfasts aren’t bad and there are proper big tables and couches to slouch around/have a relaxed meeting (with free wifi)/read a newspaper. I wonder if they have board games. Not really a breakfast type thing but it’s the type of place you’d be comfortable whipping out your Scrabble Board and scheming towards that triple word square. Hmm, I seem to have strayed. Great place, try it for yourself.
Oh, lost a star because the cutlery was dirty (but they happily replaced it) and my breakfast was begging for a bit of garnish/tomato/that lil summin summin.

Love this place. Good brekky, good cake, you can choose your own music on the iMacs, and free internet and wifi. And more importantly, the prices are significantly lower than you’d expect, more great portion sizes. Try the carrot cake, and the scrambled eggs, and fresh orange juice.

I really like the Breakfast Club and i have had nice meals in the Islington and Soho branches. I’d recommend the All American Breakfast (Sausage, Bacon, 2 fried eggs, mushrooms, pancakes and maple syrup) with a Blue Monday smoothie and a nice cup of tea. Just the tonic if you have been out the night before! They miss out on 5 stars because they don’t do table service and the drinks took a while to come. I will definitely be coming back though. This has to be one of the best breakfast places in Soho.
Oh, and they have free wifi. Always a + in my book.

Considerably better experience at this location than I had at the Camden Passage location (also reviewed), both in the quality of the food and the service. The difference could very well be chalked up this morning not being as busy than it was on my last visit during weekend brunch. Today I had the massive breakfast burrito that’s stuffed with chorizo, eggs, cheese and guacamole. And once it arrived I got over my envy at the great looking breakfast smorgasboard (aka the all-American b’fast) that the Qype boys were devouring. Twas tasty and delicious (thumbs up for the spicy chorizo) but a wee bit messy with the chorizo oil dripping out and all, so I wouldn’t order it if you’re wearing white… or are going for the 'pulled together and in control of my food’ look… Glad I gave this branch a try, bummer they don’t do french toast at this location though, so I’ll still have to go back to Islington if I wanna try the bacon and banana french toast… we’ll see.

Kitch. Slightly contrived. Delicious Yogurt, museli and banana breakfast. Media crowd. Excellent selection of cooked breakfast if you need grease. Not too shy to have brown sauce. Excellent coffee.

This has got to be one of the most popular places around. Busy in the morning before work, the crowds thin only slightly after the working day begins.
A popular spot for social media typs, this place has that funky vibe that really declares independance from staid and traditional coffee shops.
I have yet to sample their fare but the coffee and atmosphere is just fantastic and for that alone I recommend this place!
