Best hair salon in Notting Hill! Staff is very friendly and experienced, they use only the best products and clients are welcomed with drinks and brownies. I also like the dog, gives you some distraction when waiting for your colour to set in!

Impeccable service everytime dealing with everyone from this salon, from the receptionist to the stylists and assistants. I have tried several stylists in this salon and each deserve praise. The service standard is exemplary to many upmarket salons. They are also very attentive and serves the best drinks, biscuits and the most delicious chocolate brownie!

I live in Brixton and for the past 5 years I have made the trip to one of Kell Skott's North London salons to get my hair cut and coloured. If that schlep isn't testament enough to the quality of Kell Skott Haircare, specifically the skills of principal stylist Shyli, then I don't know what is.

It's rare to find a hairdresser you 100% trust but that's exactly how I feel about this salon and it's staff. Friendly, un-pretentious and utterly fabulous. Plus they don't judge me when I choose wine over coffee, no matter what time my appointment is. What more could you want?

Although I only came in thus far for a bang trim, I really enjoyed my experience. The front desk and the hair stylist were very friendly and efficient. I liked that even though I was not a regular customer the stylist took the time to ensure I liked the bang trim and it was just right. I will have to come back sometime for a cut!

When I arrived, there had been an rare mix-up with the booking and I discovered that I had been booked in for same day, but on the following week. Fearing the worst, as I had an important date the following day, I was concerned.... However, nothing was too much trouble to rectify this! Vincent, my colourist, quickly offered to forgo his lunch hour to ensure that my roots were beautifuly retouched and added several clever foils, in order to break up the parting and guarantee me a lovely sun-kissed barnet.

I had delicious coffee and chocolate brownies proferred (and as a result ate far too much) and a sensual and welcome head massage. Plus, in no longer than one and a half hours, I was back out in the sunshine with hair-to-die-for - and a date I was able to keep! Would not hesitate to return.

Great salon. I used to be a regular at another local nameless salon but always left feeling like the cut and colour was OK but not special, and not worth the small fortune I'd just paid. A friend recommended Kell Skott and I was really impressed. Bartholomew did a great cut, the salon feels very relaxed and friendly (not at all 'up itself' like lots of places in Notting Hill have become) and I came away feeling pampered, with a fab goody bag, and most importantly more self confident about how I looked. It is so much better value for money than my old salon and I'd definitely recommend it. Looking forward to a return trip very soon.

I tested every salon in Notting Hill and North Kensington before I found Kell Skott. In this salon I found what I value - brilliant hairdressing skills and a friendly, no attitude service. I have tried every junior in both salons I think for blow drys, and several for cuts and colours. I haven't had a disappointing experience yet, which is saying quite a lot as I have quite ummm challenging hair and expectations!

I have naturally curly hair and have had a few nightmare experiences with hairdressers before. After a lot of searching, I came across Kell Skott, specifically, Shyli. I booked my appointment and wasn't disappointed. The consultation was thorough and felt I was in safe hands.
I was really pleased with the cut and the colour and look forward to going back in a few weeks.

I can't claim to be the best with beauty maintenance - I get my haircut only a few times a year, but for me, there's no better salon in the city then Kell Skott Haircare.

The Staff are all very outgoing, professional and receptive to your needs. Slick interior with art works and free drinks add a nice touch.

My favourite stylist is Vicky – she has an outstanding sense of style and isn't above giving you feedback as to why this/that wouldn't "work" on you, rather than just going through the motions and doing whatever you want, just so she can have the next client in her chair faster.

I'd been swapping hairdressers every three months for the past 5 years until i found this place! Walking into the salon is one of the most calming experiences you can get during a busy day in London. The staff are attentive, creative, professional and exceptionally friendly with none of the posturing you can sometimes get in a hairdresser round these parts. This new branch just off Westbourne Grove has the same chilled feeling as the original and i've gladly followed Shyli, the chocolate brownies and fabulous mint tea there!

It's not just a haircut, it is an experience! Fabulous salon, delightful indulgences like a manicure or cappucino and home-made brownies, time to catch up on newspapers and magazines, friendly staff, great products and of course, brilliant stylists. Wouldn't let anyone other Vicky or Shyli touch my hair

Last year I desperately needed a change of hairdresser and a friend pointed me in the direction of Shyli at Kell Skott. I can’t rate her and the Kell Skott experience enough. Shyli is an absolute pro and I always walk out with the perfect colour and cut. And it’s such an enjoyable experience going to the salon – there’s a wide range of drinks available, and lovely homemade brownies as well. I definitely recommend going there!

I have been going to Kell Skott for a cut and blow dry for 20 plus years now. The brilliant Vicky and Kell have been my mainstays, but choose any stylist, and you’ll be more than happy. The atmosphere and all the little service extras are great - generous, courteous and efficient. It’s also lightfilled and beautiful to sit in. This is a salon that manages to be on the one hand sophisticated and highly skilled, and on the other, human and relaxed. Definitely go there!

I absolutely LOVE Kell Skott and their new salon off Westbourne Grove is a extremely slick and an accurate reflection of the service and haircare skill on offer. I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else.

I have been visiting the salon for a few years and have always walked out with the perfect hightlights. In london is it so hard to find someone who will do them right and once you find that person you will stick with them forever. Thats what I have done with Shyli from Kell Skott, she is the only one who will be doing my highlights forever.

Now I’m not a West London girl myself, but if I were to live in W11 I know just where I’d go to get my barnet chopped. I’ve been recommended to this salon by my immaculately coiffured West London compadre, who informs me the service is second to none.

Aside from an initial free constulation, they offer a range of holistic treatments including phyto hair and scalp treatments and the wonderfully named 'Micro Mist Steam Treatments’. Plus, you needn’t feel stomach pangs when you’re in the chair, they offer complimentary drinks menu including great coffee (espresso, latte and more), wine and beer all served with homemade chocolate brownies or olives. Hairstyling has never been so satisfying.
