This was my absolutely favourite place to eat at when I was an Au-pair in Oberursel. The food is beautiful and some of it is unusual for what I, as a british person knew about. It was the first time I’d tried a chicken cheese burger, but not the last! I loved the fact I could afford a decent meal, a drink or two and still have money (if not room), left over to grab an ice becher from the ice cafe just next door if I felt like it. It’s really easy to find, just walk straight towards the town (stadt) and it’s directly opposite the ice cream cafe, you have to go up in the lift, but it should be reasonably straight forwards to know where to go. There really does seem to be something for everyone, and the atmosphere is relaxed enough that you can enjoy yourself if you’re going alone or with friends. Their English isn’t too great there, but you don’t need to know much in order to work out what is what, and the staff have enough time to help you if it is needed.
