I have been to Ping Pong about 3 or4 times and each time I’ve been pleasantly surprised. The service has generally been quick and the waiters have been very kind and helpful. The food is excellent and well prepared, plus I liked that I could see how and where they were cooking it.

This is an extremely slick joint in an up and coming area of london. Very spacious with a very minimalist design it is a restaurant that is frequented by the noveau-riche of notting hill. The food itself is also very minamalist and this is not a place to go to when you are starving. You often still feel hungry after you go and are in shock about how much you have spent. It is asian fusion food so the daring flavours are extremely tasty and fresh. The DIm-sum is a personal favourite and it never disappoints. The variety of dipping sauces that go with the dimsum are all delicious.

My brother recommended this place to me as we walked past it one evening. Last night I finally had the opportunity to try it with my wife, the dim sum connoisseur.

The first thing you notice as you walk in is the decor. Modern, chic, and inviting. Lots of beautiful dark woods, great lighting, nice furniture. Very nice indeed.

Now this isn't traditional dim sum with the carts being wheeled around, etc - it's more of an anglo-sino fusion approach to dim sum. But there's absolutely nothing wrong with that at all. We ordered a variety of dishes and each one of them was excellent. I could have done with slightly fresher choy sum but it was prepared well and tasted nice. The only thing missing was some Chinese mustard but the variety of dipping sauces provided kept us busy.

The service was nothing short of excellent - friendly and attentive without being overbearing. They made my wife a drink that wasn't on the menu and they took the time to explain the ordering to us as we hadn't been there before. Really top notch service, many London restaurants could take a page from their book.

I really enjoyed my first visit to Ping Pong. The atmosphere is really great, the staff are very helpful,the service is great and the layout and decor of the restaurant is also very nice. The menus are very clear, even accompanied with pictures to help you choose your food. I thought the menu was slightly limited however, and one might not always leave feeling as full as you would like. Each dish is quite complicated, so if you are not a big fan or expert on Japanese food, this may not be the place for you.

a good new addition to the restaurants on westbourne grove with an asian fusion concept that does not kill your wallet in a very nicely designed place. A good place to go during the weekend or at night without having planned it (you cant book), it's informal but the service is pro and the food, fresh and prepared on outside premises, is rather good too. You can get a bit bored of the menu once you have been there a few times but if you are looking for a relaxed and well designed asian place to eat this is a good choice.
