Surely the oily food comes from the fact that it is spanish food cooked properly. I would say it was just how it should be and from what i have been told by friends who went there in the past it is now a lot more authentically Spanish rather than verging on being portuguese.

First time here despite living in Reigate for 3 years. We had always be warned off it. However it is under new Management so we thought we would give it a try and I am glad we did.
I book through their website and asked for a quiet table for two. We were given the quietest one they had in the place.
We wanted to do the tapas option but were unsure about how many to go for so we were were told no more than 6 between us. They got it spot on!! Just enough food to satisfy and not over face us.
A short a concise wine list with a lovely bottle of Rioja at £15.45 a perfect wine to have with our selection of food.
The chef is from Valencia and you can tell it is Spanish food prepared by a true Spaniard. PERFECT
This is definately going to be the first of many visits to this restaurant.

This place seems to have gone down hill. Most of the food was oily. Service was quick though.

The tapas are very good. Some of it is probably not traditional spanish tapas - e.g. chicken kebab. But, this should not deter you. The tapas are good - We've only been for the tapas, not the main dishes. I agree with others that some guidance would be helpful - both on what and how much to order. We always seem to overorder. Somewhere between 2 or 3 per person. 3 per person for everyone seems to be too many.
This was our second visit. Last time it was a busy friday, the place was packed and the service was a little slow. This time it was a rainy Sunday night and we were one of three tables. Once again it was slow. Like the other reviewer, its frustrating when one is gasping for water and it takes a while to get some. They really need to fix this. It starts with getting the waiters attention to place the order and ends with trying to pay! Must be the slow laid back Spanish experience.

Came here on a Saturday night and the place was absolutely rammed. A good sign in these thrifty times, especially for a restaurant that is quite dear compared to a lot of the alternatives in town.
The food is excellent here with a wide variety of dishes, from the small tapas to more substantial meat dishes (the suckling pig is excellent) and paella.
Service was a little slow - unsurprising, given how busy they were, but nonetheless a little irritating when you’re spitting feathers and gasping for a drink - and it would have been nice to have a bit more guidance on what to order, but these minor grumbles are outweighed by the quality of the food.

Fantastic restaurant. Lots of character, really friendly staff, the most delicious food… you can see the chefs preparing it all in the kitchen so you know it’s not Gordon Ramsay pre-packaged rubbish.
I had the suckling pig and my wife ate scallops.
Can’t rate it highly enough.

Although there are many restaurants to choose from this is certainly one of the best in town!
Sit at the bar and order from that tapas menu for real authenticity.

First class authentic Spanish food. Expensive but worth paying the extra for a special occasion.

I was so excited to find a tapas place nearby, I suppose I was a bit predisposed to love this place, and I was not disappointed. The dishes were very unique and delicious, and it helps if you have a taste for spice, like I do. The wine waiter was spot on with his recommendations, and the prices weren’t unreasonable. The Parador was a nice change from the usual fare.

Excellent tapas restaurant. Great atmosphere and staff. Only complaint is that it is quite expensive, but for those who want to treat themselves, I highly recommend a visit!

Located next to Morrisons this restaurant is a quality spanish restaurant serving spanish cuisine. My personal experience involved going for a lunch with four people on a Thursday lunchtime. I myself went for the traditional spanish choice of paella. It was especially tasty, with a good sized portions, not small sizes as you can find in many fancy restaurants. The restaurant was not too busy as it was approximately 2.30pm and this isn't a restaurant that attracts the office crowd en masse. The service was pretty quick, and the decor is the restaurant is unique. A point to note is that it doesn't get much sunlight in there due to the positioning of the restaurant, but that doesn't affect the dining experience.
