Going to this restaurant turned me off using Qype for recomendations in the future. The staff were indeed friendly but the food did not taste Indian or in fact of anything. I am not Indian but can make a better effort at home. I have been to India several times and tasted great Indian food in England and Ireland but unfortunately i haven't come across a good one in Germany as of yet.
We love Shalimar! Best restaurant in Berlin. The staff is friendly and the food is...just taste it!! Yummy!!!!
One of the best Indien (+ Pakistani) restaurants in Berlin. Its a bit hidden in a side street of Wedding and the interiors are not very stylish but the food is just amazing.
Already went there with loads of friends and all share the same opinion. Also real indian food experts from London were amazed. The meet dishes taste so fresh - I wonder how they do it. The waiters (the owners) are always friendly and nice.
Get a train to Gesundbrunnen and try it out.
