Nice ground as you get in as its just off the main road, but ok fans & people
The Best stadium in the premier league without fail ! Quality Stadium quality fans quality team quality club !!
Up the spurs !!!
I've been to quite a few football stadiums, and this is by far the worst stadium I've ever been to. The fans are quite abusive, so cover the kids ears.
Cold and nothing to shield you from the rain, so dress warmly if its a winter game you go to watch.
A proper football stadium. It might not be flashy but what it lacks in style, it makes up for in atmosphere. It's unbeatable. The acoustics just work and every rendition of 'When the Spurs Go Marching In' rings around the stadium with ear piecing noise. Even my Liverpool loving friend rates it ;0)
Those who think the travel isn't good enough need to know that they should be travelling to White Hart Lane or Northumberland Park. It's only a 5 minute walk from White Hart Lane.
The home of Pride of London, Tottenham Hotspur, an old stadium but amazing atmosphere for matches, unlike the lot up the road (Arsenal). Very difficult to get tickets and because the capacity is smallish for a top club, around 38,000 and expensive too.
The club recently announced plans for an ultra modern new stadium in more or less the same location as White Hare Lane: http://bit.ly/5WzGTt
White Hart Lane is a stadium that is rather small compared to some of the bigger more modern stadiums such as Old Trafford and the newly opened Emirates stadium, but it certainly ahs its advantages. I think that the tickets are now too expensive and tottenham might even struggle to fill up a bigger stadium. They play some very exciting football and the club does have history…. What history, well Spurs were the first team in England to win the league double… The only thing that lets them down is their inconsistency and also the odd case of food posioning a couple of years ago, which saw them pushed out of the top four by everton on the last game of the season.
I have been to white hart lane on numerous occasions and have to say that the atmosphere is SPECIAL and a live football match cannot compare in the slightest to watching a match on TV.
There are a couple of issues that need to be addressed:
1) The price of the tickets at white hart lane are far too high, £80 for top matches. This issue of frivilous at spurs but also throughout other premiership clubs.
2) The transport. When tottenham are at home, there might be anything up to 40,000 fans attending and the local transport links to this day are still as shabby as they were back in the 708s and 80s, when hooliganism was rife… Come on Boris, sort it out…....
It’s a good quality premiership stadium (I’ve seen both premiership games here & one international also) but it’s very inaccessable by public transport.
I’m certain locals & frequent users will know better methods to get to the stadium, but every time I’ve visited, the walk from the tube stadium to the ground feels endless.
immobilised For a much shorter walk to Spurs’ ground than the trek from Seven Sisters tube, go to Northumberland Park or White Hart Lane “overground” stations. Both are on lines out of Liverpool Street. The stadium is about seven minutes’ walk from Northumberland Park and five minutes’ at most from White Hart Lane.

A good traditional ground with a great atmosphere when we were there.
We went to the Antwerp Arms on Church Road before the match. I think if you look the type to cause trouble, this would be a pub to avoid as it’s frequented by some rather handy and experienced looking home fans. But while our accents were obvious, the locals were friendly enough.
Interestingly enough, its the only football match (and I’ve been to more than most!) where as an away fan I’ve been subject to searches by sniffer dogs!
i like football tottenham my not be my team but i have gone to purchase tickets for a friend there is always a exciting atmosphere so i would suggest goin to watch them play at there magnificant stadium
WHEN I LIVED DOWN THE ROAD FROM THE STADIUM I DIDNT USE TO LIKE IT DUE TO ALL THE SUPPORTERS WKNG PAST MY HE,THERE ARE THOUSANDS OF THEM ANDALL THE NOISE THEY MAKE.. ALL GOOD IF UR A SUPPORTER BUT NOT FAIR FOR THOSES WHOSE NOT..
what can i say but ’ come on you spurs’. the greatest stadium and club in the history of the english game, if your looking for an excellant atmosphere along with good football, then white hart lane is the place to be. Dripping in rich footballing tradition Tottenham was the first club to do the double and fist to conquer a european trophy.
gutterfax yeah….right…the greatest stadium and club….....stop it….you’re killing me…..

I think that this is the best stadium i av ever been to seeing as im a spurs fan. i think that the atmosphere is immense week in week out the beer is good and the food is decently priced, i strongly reccomend that you go here and take ur kids jus to get them into the feel of GOOD football
Even Though They Are The Rivals To My Team (Arsenal). Their Stadium Is Not That Bad, Obviously Not As Good As Emirates But It Is Alright. The Shop Look’s The Best Out Of It All.
This is the only place that I’ve been to watch the premier league. I lived around the corner so it was a natural choice.
I was actually supporting Middlesborough, because they had our Australian captain and goal keeper playing for them at the time.
The atmosphere was a bit grim. You couldn’t have a beer with you whilst watching the game. I felt that the people around me weren’t really all that happy.
I cheared when my team got an equaliser, really quietly I thought, but the security guard came over and warned me to be quiet. I guess my bright red jacket i the Tottenham area (which seemed to be almost the whole stadium) wasn’t helping me much. The home team won anyway and I wasn’t molested at all on the way out.
It was pretty exciting I suppose but I’m used to Australian football or even the cricket, where you can shout and drink as much as you want and no one gets too upset.
I recommend it if you can get reasonably priced tickets.
White Hart Lane has been home to Tottenham Hotspur since 1899 and this year the club (my club!!) celebrates it's 125th birthday. Well, of course I'm going to be biased about the place being a supporter, but in all seriousness, for a premiership team, the size of the stadium is quite small (capacity is 36,310) and I count this as a positive. It allows football fans to be closer to the action, something lacking in newer, larger stadiums, and the resulting atmosphere is fantastic, particularly when the Tottenham faithful are in full chorus. You can get all the football clichés here; Chicken Balti Pies etc etc.
The biggest gripe has to be the downright appalling local transport links to get here. But, for Spurs fans, it's home.
