Suruchi Indian Restaurant

Well priced, amply sized menu and tasty curries. We were the only customers on a Sunday night so there wasn't really any way the service could have been bad I don't think but I've never had any issue with that element in the past either.

My name’s Nick and I work for hungryhouse.co.uk, it’s an online ordering service for local take-aways in the U.K. At the moment one of my many missions is to tell people about our customer reviews of Suruchi Too and learn as much as i can along the way, it’s great to see someone enjoying good food and being thrifty at the same time! It’s also great to hear about dining in for a change, we get lots of reviews complementing the food but rarely dining in, How does the food compare i wonder? An Indian Restaurant with a Scottish menu. You have to go there to get it.They hold lots of festivals etc to celebrate Indian food & culture. We stopped by for Sunday lunch. We were given the a la carte menue & told we could choose a starter, main course & rice for £7.95ish. King Prawn dishes would be an extra £2.We expected the portions would be fairly small but they weren’t. We ordered Pakora to start which was a mixture of different vegetable fritters & Paneer with a chick pea sauce.Both were delicious & hearty portions with salad on the side. I could have been satisfied to leave it at that.However, two lamb dishes Rogan Josh & Saag ghosht arrived with fluffy rice & an extra side of two Chapatis. We got about half way through & decided enough was enough. We asked the waiter if we could take away what was left. He very kindly put it into containers for us & brought it back to the table. The food was fab & we actually ate the remainder for tea with a cauliflower curry prepared by my other half. You can’t be too thrifty in these days of credit crunch!!!!
I would heartily recommend Suruch Too. Also it’s one of the few places you can get a curry at Sunday Lunchtime

A definite gem of an Indian Restaurant opposite Fesitval Theatre. Prices very reasonable. Staff very friendly and attentive. Would recommend
