Located in busy Soho, this Cuban bar offers a great night. Popular amongst young professionals, Floridita serves up great cocktails and pumping tunes to make for a top night out.

This is a sexy Cuban restaurant and bar in busy Soho. I’ll admit to never having eaten upstairs, but it looks very nice.
The downstairs club, though, is the sort of place that everyone should go to at least once. It’s upscale and it knows it: jammed full of beautiful people, tables that you probably have to be on some magic list to sit at, super-delicious (but £8) drinks, and live salsa music just about every evening if you wait long enough. The expat South Americans will make dancing intimidating, but get out there and shake it. If you want an extravagant Latino night, get down to La Floridita.
It furthers my theory that everything you need is on Wardour Street.

If Fidel Castro could have been here and eaten in this restaurant then I think he would feel the same way that I do. This great little place has all the passion and glamour you would expect from any-one born in that extraordinary country.
They have many traditional favourites like lobster,pork, their own speciality of black-beans and plenty of wines to choose from.
Apart from the food there are floor shows from show-stopping dancers and singers and if after all that food you feel upto it then indulge yourself by joining in the fun. For the men you could have had a Cuban Cigar in their private lounge but now all thats changed.

I absolutely love Floridita! It’s quite expensive but somehow the atmosphere and sophistication of the place allows it to get away with charging a minimum of £8 per drink.
I always go to the downstairs bar, the beautiful chrome staircase is one of the best features and makes you wish you could always afford to drink in places like this.
Stick around until about 10pm for when the live Cuban band comes on and join the throng on the dancefloor. Like being on holiday - brilliant!
