Fish Tank

The Fish Tank is a nice place that sells fish including the humble gold fish. The black windows look odd but behind them there’s a great array of fish to buy for your fish tank. The fish are well unusual………….

I know how anyone could say anything bad about this shop the man who works here or his lovely dogs!
I have been going to this shop for as long as I can remember. This is the only tropical fish shop I would ever use. The owner here is always very friendly, helpful and resonable, he even makes his regulars a cup of tea or coffee. If you ever have any problem with you own fish or something you have just bought from his shop he will aways help you out.
The man here always give good and sound advice and is very fair.
I would recommend this shop to everyone.

By the way, I know of many Tropical fish opening in and around brighton and they all have shut down at some point, what dose the say about The Fish Tank!

hi i have been going to the fish tank for the 5 to 6 years and the man who owns has a very good knowlege of fish he has helped me very much with my tropicals and now helped me set up a marine tank aswel and i know if any one has a proble with there fish they can ring him and he will help the best he can i will always go there and no where else and would recommend most people to go there even my family now only go there as he has been great to them

The Fish Tank can seem a little bit intimidating on the surface; I definately was a little put off to go here by emlovegrove's review. But on realising it was the nearest and only shop for miles I decided to ignore it and went anyway.

I'm really glad I did! After searching for months for a knowledgable source for tropical fish in Brighton, I finally found it. The owner can seem a little bit grumpy but if you talk to him politely and kindly then he soon warms up; he knows his stuff and clearly cares about his fish personally. He does have two big dogs in there but they are not territorial at all...in fact, I had one licking my feet the second I entered the shop. Too cute.

Anyway, don't be put off by first impressions; this place is the best shop to go to if you want reasonably priced fish and supplies (and everything in between).

Nope, it is a tropical fish shop. It has a good selection of supa-dupa salt-water fish, coral and sponges. It also stocks your bog standard goldfish.

But if you want to upgrade it also stocks "fancy" goldfish; the bug eyes, fat bellied mutants that can hardly swim but look pretty.

Best thing about The Fish Tank is that they don't growl when children press their noses up against the glass tanks. This makes it a cheap day-out destination.. who needs the Sea Life centre?

And don't forget to say hi to Zig and Zag, the snakes in the back room.

Let me begin by saying, that this is not a friendly shop. We visited this shop today and it is safe to say that we do not know much about fish. We went to this shop looking for advice and possibly a purchase, but were instead met with extreme rudeness and even insults from the man behind the counter. He refused to sell us a fish and wouldn’t recommend anywhere that would. He also had two large dogs in the entrance, that were very territorial and wouldn’t let us inside. DO NOT GO HERE!!
