Well I’m currently studying at JMC which has been merged with Sutton Coldfield College and Mathew Bolton College and is one of the largest sixth form college’s in Birmingham!

JMC had a massive makeover during the summer of 2007. The college is well established and is a comfortable, friendly learning place for all students. The campus has a student lounge with comfortable sofa’s and a huge plasma T.V. The place is cosy and welcoming and just a second away from the canteen where there is also a plasma T.V for students lunching!

The college has many facilities including a gym, a modern I.T centre, a library with quiet study zone, facilities for disabled students and a addition lounge for adult learners! The college is very proud of it’s appearance and to top that up it is one of the first colleges to run a course on Video Games! now that’s just fantastic for gamer’s like me!!!!! :)

A friendly welcome awaits you at Josiah Mason College - whether its an evening class you're after, or you are choosing your A Levels there will be something for you. Although it is always daunting approaching an educational institution with a view to signing up for a course, there are people on hand to guide you in the right direction if you venture there during the September enrolment weeks. You can speak to course tutors, get assistance with finance, ask about childcare, find out about bus passes... just be prepared to wait and be patient, as it all takes time!

The College benefits from a state-of-the-art learning centre - a large computer suite with internet access and seminar rooms. The canteen area has been up-dated this year, and offers a range of food for a reasonable price. There are sports facilities, a helpful and friendly library, and despite initial appearances to the contrary, the college itself is small and inviting.
