Compliment

Mulligan is a nice break from the typical trendy bars and restaurants that are all over Manchester. Mulligan is a cosy little Irish pub that is very central yet off the beat and track. I have only been in Mulligans a couple of time but the atmosphere was great and really warm and welcoming. It seems like the sort of pub that has a lot of locals that like to spend their time there socialising and having a few drinks and a laugh with some mates. I was really surprised to fid quite a mixed variety of people when I went, it seems that anyone can just pop in to Mulligans for a quite life, no matter what walk o life they are from. The bar staff are extremely polite and well mannered, I wasn’t served by an Irish person but that didn’t really take too much away from the atmosphere.
The décor was quite basis but warm, the walls were brick work and part wallpaper with pictures and other artefacts on the wall. It reminded me of my local pub back in Scotland, small and warm and very homely looking. The drinks seem to be that of any other small pub, beer and lager on draft with carious bottles and spirits. Unsurprisingly there were a lot of people drinking Guinness there. I really enjoyed both times when I have been here it is quant and out of the way. I think on St Patrick’s day I would like to go in for a few drinks, I am sure the atmosphere with be even more amazing then.
