Unprofessional bar staff. Doorman service disrespectful and rude. If a regular customer is not respected on this way several times then is a place that you should not return They have lost good customers.

love the interior and outside. great place. However, I kind of don't want to go there anymore. I have been there 3 times now and i just never encountered friendly staff... they are slow and unfriendly.

One of the best cocktail bars in Berlin, period. Laid back atmosphere, no holier than thou german attitude, and an extremely high standard of preparation and presentation for the cocktails. I suppose the place could be cleaner and more refined, but I prefer the local bar atmosphere and the friendliness of the bartenders to something posher. The cocktails are to die for, and they have a real NYC bartender there who played great music. Not so common for berlin, he told me he doesn't even speak german. This is one of the few places I went while I was in Berlin that really 'got it right'

Five stars for the whole experience. It's not often you get really warm and friendly service in berlin.

Will be going back the next time I'm in town.

Neue Odessa Bar offers a welcome break from the jam-packed venues around Schöhnhauser Allee. Laid back music, very late opening, smoke-friendly policy and the opportunity to sit down… a recipe for success in my book. Good service too, which is at a premium in this part of town.
