A surprising organic take-away in the posh Hackescher Markt area! Bagels, soups, ciabatta bread, salads, wraps, antipasti … and original recipes ! A quick lunch, handy and cheap for the area.

I think this place is always open throughout the week - well maybe the close briefly in the night, but they are always still around when (not very often) I walk by late and they are already open early in the morning.

Speaking of morning - a fresh made bagel costs 1,70 EUR which is a serious bargain for any breakfast in Mitte. You have the choice of different creme cheeses (dried tomatoes, rucola?) and different bagels. The bagel is heated briefly and off you go to a good breakfast. Coffee ain't too expensive either. A bargain, seriously.

I'm not sure when but probably recently, they also switched the interior. They now even have a couple places to sit.

Aside from bagels they also have other stuff - such as falafel, sandwiches, schawarma, soup and so on.

Sometimes the people working there are not too friendly (1 star off), but most of the time it's alright. And if you are in Berlin, you are probably used to it anyway. ;-)
