Don't be put off by the lack of non-Somali faces: this is a welcoming cafe that serves nice rice, meat and chapati Somali specialities at rock bottom prices (think two peple for less than a tenner). Chili heat comes from a homemade sauce in the innocuous ketchup bottles. No frills, a communal atmosphere and worth a visit. You will not be allowed to leave hungry.

How early would you like to have yourr breakfast? Like 6 a.m? Well this restaurant will be buzzing by then. It serves all Somalian dishes like chapati (a soft wheat flatbread, fufu and cous cous. Cous cous is a staple food in Somalia made from Semolina. I see it in superstores now. The store closes late at night at 11 p.m.
