One of my favourite restaurants in Bristol. The food isn’t clever but it is big and the range of burgers on sale is great, always something interesting to try. Last time I went they had buffalo burgers on the menu as a special.

It gets expensive, especially since the fries are not included in the main burger fries, so if you go there in a group, share some fries to save money. The burgers are so big you won’t go hungry.

Massively overburdened with garlic mayo - even after scraping off it was too garlicy - and I like garlic. On telling staff a total lack of interest. Won't eat here again!

Oh my god I love this place. It has an extensive menu, my fave being the one with the chorizo, and adds things to the menu regularly. The burgers are good and very filling, which almost excuses them for not including chips in the price. The prices are a bit over average, but definitely worth it if you enjoy burgers. And you have to order and pay at the bar which is a bit annoying. Otherwise a must eat!!!!

Before you think burger bar - urgh! This is the fine dining version of McDonalds and Burger King and boy does it work - who would have thought?!. The place is always packed, abuzz with burger connoisseurs young, middle and old alike. The menu has a great selection of burgers, pretty much anything you could think of concocting - including a few delicious veggie options. There are salads too and the chunky chips a must - I always order an indulgent dip to go with (be careful of the garlic one - it must contain at least your RDA x 1000!). We sat around waiting to be served clearly missing the sign that saying, go up to till to order and pay...and then just chat, look out the window onto the park street passers-by and wait for your 15cm high burger to arrive.

I went here with a friend the other day and had the most gorgeous vegetarian burger - goats cheese with sun-dried tomatoes, relish and salad. (It has about five vegetarian options, but they all looked delicious.) I also bought a bowl of chips, which was a bit pointless because the burger was so huge! It's usually packed, and for good reason because the food is amazing, so book or you might end up having to wait an hour to sit down. Even then, it's worth it! The service was also great, and it was refreshing to eat at a place where it's easy to pay separately; since you order and pay for your food at the till before hand.
