This restaurant is part of a chain and idoes some really great burgers. The burgers are huge and really delicious. They have loads of different toppings to choose from, including some quite wacky ones. Your burger doesn’t come with chips so you have to buy these seperately but this wasn’t an issue for me; the burgers are so big that me and my friends just usually share chips anyway or go without. The staff are friendly and have let me take half of my burger home with me when i couldn’t finish it once before, which i thought was great. It’s a million miles from standard takeaway burgers but still affordable. I would definitely recommend it for a lunch or casual dinner out.

This place is a cut above your average burger bar, offering a huge selection and huge portions! The burgers are delicious, as are the chunky chips. Always really popular; there’s a new branch in Cabots Circus which has had queues out of the door everytime I’ve seen it. You can’t book so you have no choice but to join the queue, but it’s worth the wait!

The burgers are very tasty and the selection is great. The range varies between vegetarian falafel or portobello mushroom burgers to chicken, beef, venison and even buffalo. A kiwi burger has pineapple, beetroot and egg while a mexican has a bean sauce/salsa with chillis and avocado. You pay when you order so all you have to do is eat and then go when you need to. This is an interesting ploy because it makes me feel that I can’t linger and need to get out of there as soon as possible. There are beers and wines and some snacks live olives and peanuts to munch on until the food arrives. The service has always been nice even on really busy nights when the poor waiters were rushing around like mad people. The decor is quite friendly with artistic looking paintings on the walls but cosy and plain wooden tables in the dining area - quite minimalistic. They also do take away!

Gourmet Burger Kitchen is a great place for a great burger! The menu is quite long and so there is a lot of choice, offering different burgers but also different additions to the burger itself such as garlic mayo. I personally love the chicken burger with garlic mayo – its to die for! There are also a range of sides available and the chunky chips go down a treat. The only down side about the restaurant is that it is on the small side so you do fell a bit crammed in, and it is a bit noisy but its not a big deal. Meals are very cheap and they often do 2-4-1 offers too making it even cheaper!

Love the vast assortment of burgers you can get. Although it is more expensive than a lot of burger bars I think it is well worth it as it is in a class of its own. Also does really good chips. Also like how you can have an extra side salad instead of the bun if you prefer something a bit lighter.

A great place to have a burger, without the fat levels that fast food joints offer. Loved the food, and will deifnitely visit again.

If you like burgers, then the Gourmet Burger Kitchen is heaven. With a great selection of different high quality burgers, veal to vegi, they have it. This place is sophisticated and dynamic enough for business lunches and also kids parties. You can have a beer with your meal if you fancy and there are free mints when you’re all done… If you can finish it!!!

One of my favourite restaurants in Bristol. The food isn’t clever but it is big and the range of burgers on sale is great, always something interesting to try. Last time I went they had buffalo burgers on the menu as a special.
It gets expensive, especially since the fries are not included in the main burger fries, so if you go there in a group, share some fries to save money. The burgers are so big you won’t go hungry.
