Theatre Royal

This theatre seems to have two listings so please read my review on the other one!

Unable to comment on the theatres as have never been but appears to put on a good variety of shows. The bar next door is situated in a n out of the way part pof Stratford reall, behiond the shopping centre. It has a variety of free entertainment ranging from comedy, poetry to music. Reasonable prices and nothing to extroidinary in terms of drinks, just get there and get your drinks before the interval at the theatre or else you’ll struggl;e to find a seat of a member of staff to serve you.

Located right next to the picture house, if you have nothing to do the cinema and the theatre royal complement each other nicely for a whole afternoon and night out! Lots of different shows to watch and as it has been through many refurbs it is now looking modern but with all the class of the classic features. there are lots of family shows for the whole family, pantomimes and comedy nights. It’s close to the station so even if you don’t live nearby, 5 minutes walk will get you here - great rail links

This is a fabulous theatre, its also very easy to get too you et a train or a bus to stratford.
It looks the same as it did when it was first built but there has been big changes,its been through major refurbishments in the last 20 years or so.
Its an absolute joy to go there with the whole family.
They have great shows,and musical events and many other thing to enjoy.
It also has a great restaurant called the carribean flavours which caters in spicy carribean food plus they also serve non carribean food ie chicken and salad.

This is a great theatre, still with its original fittings in the heart of the east end. The only thing that comes close is the one not too far away in Hackney. Who needs the westend when this is on the doorstep? It offers a variety of plays, music nights, culturally themed stories, comedy nights and also pantomines every year around Christmas. Located close to Stratford rail/tube station and to local shops, this place is a secret gem.
