Great food - but I’m not sure it’s restricted to Punjabi dishes. I’m sure I’ve had mogo. East African?

Its no 5* deco, just a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Can't get enough of quite a few dishes, cheese naan and fish being one of them. Most definately afordable and fast, polite service.

Great variety, tasty and fresh food, blown away with the first bite. To die for grill and tandoori dishes. If you have space left in your tummy, go for the finger licking desserts. No fuss , casual environment, great place to enjoy a hearty meal with your friends and family.

A great place to eat. Friendly staff and great portions of food always piping hot when it reaches your table. I've been a few times and it is worth the trip down from Manchester to eat here! On my last visit they made a mistake with one of the dishes and told us that we wouldn't be charged for it. Now where do you get customer service like that?
I'll be down there again in June (even if Manchester United lose the Premership Title to a London club!!)
Skodaman Sean.

great tasteing food at affordable prices, always very busy and popular.
staff are very friendly and make you feel very comfortable.
They have a great range of vegetarian dishes too and even do a takeaway service, so you can either phone up with your order and go and collect or just pop into the store and order.
Their naan bread is very big and nice and moist unlike some places where they are hard and dry.
Their lamb korma is very nice.
Their portions are quite big and very filling.

One of my favourite places to eat proper Punjabi food. This is another cafe/restaurant with a lively, atmospheric, no-frills style. The menu is authentic Punjabi food and my favourites include Fish Tikka, Masala Chops and any of the Karahi dishes. A point to remember is that Five Hot Chillies is BYOB but if you forget the off licence a few doors away do cold, large size, Cobra beers.
If you manage to not over indulge in the delicious main dishes there are some equally lip-smacking desserts and I highly recommend Kheer; an Indian rice pudding flavoured with cardamom. If you don't live near the restaurant, believe me, its worth the travel.
