Have eaten here a few times, but the last was atrocious. Ate on a Weds, so perhaps was main chef’s night off. ‘Toasted’ bread was completely blackened, parmesan was ancient and rock hard…Although some dishes were nice (about 40% of what we ate between 7 of us), most were either tasteless or wrongly seasoned (I’m not being fussy, I mean that you couldn’t taste anything but garlic).

It’s a shame because the location is great, it’s a lovely place and so on, but this was really poor. It’s also got pretensions of fine cuisine (square plates, little flourishes of reduced sauces, that sort of thing) which sometimes works (fried camembert starters in little cubes were very nice) but this was a long way away from a good dining experience. In fact, it was easily the worst food I’ve had in a restaurant in the last two years. Sorry.

I've been here about 6 or 7 times. I love the place. The first time i went i had an absolutely amazing starter (some kind of beans in a garlic sauce type dish) followed by one of the best pizzas I've even had - Artichoke with ham. As a result of that visit i've only ever managed to try one other item on the main course menu because i keep ordering the same pizza. But the risotto i tried was great too.

Prices are perfectly reasonable and the ambience is about right - some Italian kitsch but not too much. I've never seen this place empty.

This restaurant is sutuated opposite a park. When you are in there you feel like you're in Italy. The deco is so italian it is charning and lovely. The food is good. You have to try the dough balls and bruschetta when you are there. Most of their mains are fantastic so it depends what you like. The food is reasonably priced and portions are enough for anyone to eat.

This restaurant is one of those little gem kind of places. Aside from the consistently good reasonably priced menu it has a great atmosphere with an Italian street style decor that makes you forget where you are. You can't go wrong with any of the dishes really but my favourite is Tagliatelle Con Filetto; a ribbon pasta dish with succulent beef fillet pieces, rocket and melt in the mouth cherry tomatoes all in a red wine sauce. I also highly recommend the dough balls, bruschetta, calamari and selection of Italian desserts.
