I think the moggery is the best place in the world for rehoming cats and kittens. Don’t even bother to read the review below! I am not sure the guy who wrote it realises you can have different colour cats in the same litter or how unfair it is to split families of dependent kittens up!! I totally agree with keeping families of cats together as any cat lover would especially in a situation where they are being re-homed! There are always plenty of lush single cats/kittens waiting for homes!
I have rehomed a number of cats from the moggery and I recommend everything about the process.
Christine is friendly, approachable and realsitic about the cats and offering them a new home. She is the expert and that comes through in everythings she says.
A great place, run by a great lady with a strong team of dedicated volunteers, doing a great job, for great cats!!

Please do not let the review below put you off going to the Moggery. I picked up two adorable cats on Sunday. Christine gave us enough time to decide and answered all of our questions. The cats are very well behaved and bring us so much happiness. I can not recommend the Moggery highly enough. If you are looking for cats please go, there are so many that require rehoming and consider having two, they love the company.

After arranging an appointment we visited "The Moggery" with our twelve year old and two year old daughters, we were asked to sit and wait for the cats and kittens to come to us which we happily did.... only one did, a five month old black kitten called Bruce. He seemed quite happy with our two year old and the rest of the family!! The lady in charge (Christine) seemed more interested in us having one of two other cats, neither of which seemed very interested. She was very pushy on this point, so it seems we were suitable for one of those lovely cats but not for the kitten which came to our daughter...... Although this is what she was looking for when rehoming a cat. She then insisted that she did not want to split up Bruce from his supposed brother who happened to be a white kitten (Red Colourpointed) with different colour eyes. Chistine was abrupt at best verging on the rude.
I left and waited in the car, my wife came out about ten minutes later, but was nearly pussed out the door. We drove away feeling a mixture of anger and sadness, that we were denied the chance of giving the kitten a loving home.

We have today adopted a beautiful and very affectionate one year old cat to make friends with our existing four legged family. Over the past 12-14 years Jeylan is the fourth cat we have adopted from Christine at the Moggery and cannot recommend her highly enough. Christine and all her volunteers are devoted to helping cats and kittens in need of a new home.

We have today chosen two cats from the Moggery. What a fantastic organisation, the cats are so well loved and cared for, I had to take my toddler along so that we could make sure we chose cats who weren't intimidated by him. Thank you, Christine, and all your helpers for making this such an easy and enjoyable first time experience with excellent advice and guidance.

The Moggery is a cat sanctuary that is always looking for volunteers to clean up after the cats, feed them, and give them lots of love and attention. They also get a lot of kittens. The woman who runs it is absolutely lovely, and has a lot of rules for who are and who aren't allowed to adopt a cat or kitten, so that they go to the best homes. I've volunteered here myself, and the people I worked with were all lovely, so I recommend it for all cat lovers.
