Half chicken and chips - a very good choice. Shish kebab - notionally a good choice. Until they deep fry (?!) it. And smother in curry sauce. Ugh. Not great pre-gig food!

Good place to go if you’re drunk and want to eat late at night, bad place to go if there’s a soccer match at St Pauli stadium. The döner is pretty much OK, the chicken is good, the prices are average. Don’t be scared of the weird people loitering in front of Feldstraße station, they are harmless.

Try the Halp Haechen. You won't be disappointed. Excellent late night feasting next to Feldstrasse train station. If you're out on the raz on a week night, this is probably the best place to grab some grub after midnight around neur pfedemarkt.

I don't have much to say about this place because I've only been once, for a few minutes, in a drunken haze. It was 2am ish on a Thursday and mostly everywhere was closed, but we needed some food and our helpful cab driver noticed this place was open :)

With being so late there wasn't much choice of food left, I seem to recall, and so we left with two half-chickens and a load of bits of bread. The chicken was surprisingly good, in fact I'd go as far as saying excellent.
