Compliment

The fame of the chelsea kitchen made me imagine something far different from the chelsea kitchen that i actually experienced.
The tradition is its main selling point, the chelsea kitchen seems to be an institution, dont go here expecying a posh meal or plush surroundings, its more doen to earth than that, you may describe its as scruffy, or dated. There's wooden benches and old marked tables downstairs is quite dark and there's bottles of ketchup on the tables.
The food though is wholesome, the portions are big although it can be a bit on the heavy side the options are traditional cottage pie, burgers etc but they do have specials too.
The prices are good and the service prompt you can go here often for lunch and soon feel like a local and that you belong.
