Chalet Bakery, Tadworth

Lovely relaxed atmosphere with the yummiest bacon and egg sandwiches in the world! I love it here-great coffee and quick service-the only thing i would say could improve is the comfiness of the seats-some couches would be lovely! (but then maybe we would never leave?)

I love it here - a wonderful, proper bakery with so many tempting, delicious and different things to try.

I meet friends here regularly for coffee and / or lunch. The pastries and quiches are particular favourites of mine - nothing like the usual supermarket tasteless rubbish!! And you should try the loaf cakes; the chocolate and lemon ones are my favourites and they are very reasonably priced, too!

This small but perfectly-formed bakery is the antidote to the mass-produced horror that is Greggs. All the stuff is made on the premises, so you're guaranteed the freshest bread around, made by experts. The bloomers are (excuse me) bloomin' marvellous but Chalet also have speciality breads, like spelt, and will also make you sourdough bread if you order in advance..

The only problem with this place is the array of other tempting baked goods on offer. I'll often go in for a bloomer and end up leaving with a load of cornish pasties, sausage rolls, doughnuts, chocolate loaves...
